My glasses broke yesterday. I have worn those glasses for more than nine years. The loss was a little sad for me. My friend Janet said "Oh, thank god!" She was tired of those frames...

One visit to Santa Fe Optical and the realization that the price of glasses had held strong through our economic downturn struck me. It was like they were gold or silver! Thankfully the customer service was so fantastic there that I quickly found a pair I really liked. Reluctantly, I left before buying anything to complete a "value check" at Eclectic Eyewear where I was left to myself to sort through hundreds of glasses that all looked the same and were not much of a bargain. Guess which place I will be returning to tomorrow?
